The conference is traditionally one of the most important annual student scientific events, the main purpose of which is to discuss modern problems of medicine, pharmacy, biotechnology, healthcare economics, sociology, psychology, as well as to accumulate scientific papers of students and present them to the medical community.

Dear colleagues, in this section you will find brief information about the conference and answers to some of the most frequently asked questions.
Council of Student Scientific Society of Kursk State Medical University invites you to participate in the annual International Scientific Conference of Students and Young Scientists "Youth Science and Modernity", which will be held on April 23-25, 2025.

The purpose of the conference is to discuss modern problems of medicine, pharmacy, biotechnology, health economics, sociology, psychology.

Based on the results of the conference, a collection of materials will be published, which will be included in the Russian Science Citation Index (RISC) system. The electronic version of the publication will be posted on the conference website.

The conference is planned to be held in a hybrid format on the basis of Kursk State Medical University.
Full-time participation is provided for KSMU students. Nonresident students are offered the opportunity to choose (full-time/ part-time) performance.

School students, students, residents, postgraduates, and young scientists (candidates of sciences under the age of 35, doctors of sciences under the age of 40) are invited to participate in the conference. Based on the decision of the jury members, the best reports at the breakout sessions will be awarded with diplomas of various degrees.

Forms of participation in the conference:
- Verbal/ poster report;
- Publication of a clinical case;
- Publication of the thesis.

Approximate deadlines:
Until March 1 - Applications for reports and publication materials are accepted ;
March 1-9 - verification of materials for compliance with requirements to publish;
March 9 - reply to all submitted materials;
March 9-16 - the opportunity to correct materials;
Until March 16 - send corrected materials via [form] (will be active after March 9)
[April 18 - 30] - approximate publication time of the collection;
